OUR MISSION

The Dancers Cure Cancer Foundation is dedicated to using the power of dance to support cancer patients and their families, raise awareness, and fund research. By amplifying the voices of young, passionate dancers, we strive for a future where cancer is no longer a threat.

NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER

Angela Zhang

I’m a competitive dancer with over 13 years of experience, but dance is more than a passion for me—it’s been my way of coping, healing, and giving back.

When a loved one in my family was diagnosed with colon cancer, it shook me deeply. The fear, the uncertainty—it felt unbearable. And while I’m so grateful they’re in recovery, that fear left a lasting mark. Then, I lost a valued teacher to cancer,  which was heartbreaking and left me determined to do something meaningful.

I want to help ensure that others don’t have to go through the pain cancer brings, whether it’s patients or their families. I’m committed to raising awareness, spreading hope, and making a difference—even if in small ways—to work toward a future where cancer is no longer a part of anyone’s life.

Lots of love,
Angela
